Patricia O’Malley, PhD, RN, CNS
Dr. Patricia O’Malley is a nurse researcher at the Center of Nursing Excellence and Clinical Nurse Specialist in Palliative Care Services at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, OH. She is an adjunct faculty at both Wright State University in Dayton, OH and Indiana University in Richmond, IN.
Dr. O’Malley received her MS and PhD in nursing from The Ohio State University and her BSN from the College of Mount St. Joseph. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and serves as a column editor for Clinical Nurse Specialist: The Journal for Advanced Nursing Practice. She is a member of NACNS, AACN, the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the Medical Reserve Corps Greene County.
Dr. O’Malley is the current President of Zeta Phi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International and is a long-time member of the STTI Southern Ohio/Northern Kentucky (SONK) Consortium Conference Planning Committee.
